How does the 10 day free trial work?
A free trial account allows you to get familiar with EmailDocs for a period of 10 days and is limited to 250 emails sent. When the trial period is over or if you have sent the 250 emails, EmailDocs will notify you to become a paying customer. You can upgrade anytime to member status and not lose any of your data in your account. |
Is there a contract to sign?
Absolutely not. You can subscribe using our month-by-month, "pay as you go" service and you can cancel at any time. There are no contracts to sign. No setup fees. |
How do I cancel?
During the free trial, your account will immediately expire after 10 days. |
What is your refund policy?
Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. We offer a free 10 day trial so that you can get an idea if our service is what you are looking for. Since we are a month-to-month service, you may cancel your account at any time. We do not prorate or refund our service. As a member, we suggest that you cancel prior to your monthly renewal date or you will be charged your next month’s membership fee. |
Can I change my plan anytime?
Of course! You can select a different plan at any time - you are completely free to choose the plan that works best for you. |

Is EmailDocs HIPAA compliant?
Yes. As a HIPAA Business Associate, EmailDocs follows the requirements of HIPAA's Privacy and Security Rules. As your marketing partner, we understand HIPAA and what HIPAA requires of you. As your email marketing provider, our systems and services are secure and encrypted to help you maintain your HIPAA compliance. |
|
Can I send confidential medical information to patients using EmailDocs?.
Because of HIPAA regulations, we advise against using EmailDocs to send confidential medical data to patients. According to the HIPAA Security Rule (45 CFR § 164.312(a)(2) (iv) and 164.312(e)(2)(ii)), confidential medical data such as test results, medical charts, health histories, and diagnoses should be encrypted for both the sender and the recipient. Since the majority of patients do not use encryption, sending such data via email is not recommended.

Can I purchase email lists and send to non-patients?
You MAY NOT import recipients from purchased sources. EmailDocs ONLY allows you to import email addresses from your patient database. To ensure Hipaa compliance, you must obtain valid authorization from patients before engaging in "marketing" communications with them. Ask us for our updated Hippa Compliance form. |
